It is the product of an integrated industrial activity, obtained from the mining and processing of limestone and clay: its industrialization occurs by grinding, homogenizing and producing the flour (raw mix) and subsequent physical-chemical processing in clinker (non-pulverized cement) and grinding thereof.
Characteristics:
- Homogeneous product, with a limited variety of types, according to the Technical Standards of ABNT, and essential, from start to finish, to all types of construction;
- Lime and clay, processed into cement by industry along with sand and gravel are the building blocks of concrete, the material most consumed on the planet after water, according to the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) ;
- Basic product, both in housing construction and in infrastructure works;
- Perishable, with low storage condition, occupying large spaces. Used throughout the work. There are no regulatory stocks;
